Egyptian Subtraction
Hey guys! I'll be writing a blog about last class of what we learned. Last class we have learned how the Egyptians subtracted in math. To subtract they would have to normally do the same thing as us but if they had more symbols in one question they would try to break that down, and subtract the remaining symbols (numbers) left! Since they have to carve this on a rock, if they make one mistake, they would have to do it all over again. That would be a lot of work! Lucky we don't have to carve math equations on a rock. I still wonder how long it would actually take to finish one equation! I hope this was a good blog, I'll see you guys in class!
